NOTE: Seva Stress Release Part 1: Self Care and Part 2 With Others are pre-requisites for all additional programs
Module 1: Seva Stress Release Part 1: For Self-Care: Learn SEVA to reduce stress and promote relaxation, using a simple acupressure program done seated or lying down for self-care. This protocol can be completed in under 20 minutes.
Module 2: Seva Stress Release Part 2: For Others: Broadens the Seva Stress Release method to offer to others while seated or lying down, taught working in pairs. Useful for caregivers, child care providers, health care workers, yoga teachers, hospice volunteers, and teachers.
Module 3: Great Central Channel: Learn to bring more conscious awareness and integration through the whole being and chakra system. Learn this simple, empowering practice to activate and align energy from the base of the body to the crown, cultivating mindful presence and supporting deeper understanding and connection with self and others.
Module 4: Harmony and Balance: Learn to balance the nervous system, release emotional stress, reduce migraines, release neck and shoulder tension; promote deep relaxation. This protocol is deeply calming and balances the right and left brain.
Module 5: Head Release: Learn the Head Release and the Special Headache formula. Applications include tension and pain in the head, neck and face. Also addresses sinus congestion and headaches.
Module 6: Abdominal Release: Abdominal release formula brings a clearer, stronger flow of energy through the torso. Beneficial for: appetite abnormalities; circulation to/from feet; Gall Bladder and Spleen meridians, chronic gastritis, stomach and intestinal tract congestion.
Module 7: Chest/Respiratory Release: Beneficial for: bronchitis, chest congestion, shortness of breath, smoker’s cough, breast tenderness, dry skin, heartburn, Heart Chakra

This two-day workshop is ideal for massage therapists who want to learn benefits of acupressure, indications and contraindications, and techniques for balancing and harmonizing the whole being. Practitioners will learn and practice interface touch, fulcrums, leg stretch, neck release, and five Insight Acupressure protocols for self-care and to use with others. Participants will exchange acupressure bodywork sessions daily.

A monthly meditation & a simple acupressure program for self-care.
During this FREE monthly online Zoom gathering, we will join together to align with and strengthen the connection with internal guidance and wisdom and the healer within.

Arrive early, we will start promptly at 7 PM. We will begin with a guided group meditation, followed by a brief acupressure for self-care practice to promote balance and relaxation, boost resilience, and enhance well-being.
Although you do not have to register for the entire series, individual session registration is required.
Qigong is a 5,000-year-old traditional Chinese practice that uses meditation, breathing, movement, and self-massage to acupressure points. Participants will learn a simple Qigong practice that can be used independently at home to enhance self-healing and well-being, improve posture, boost resilience and vitality, and improve general health and physical well-being.
Walking the Mystical Path With Practical Feet: Cultural anthropologist, educator, and author, Angeles Arrien, taught simple wisdom tradition practices, designed to bring insights for empowerment, balance, and grounding in ourselves, our relationships, and our environment. In this two-session program we will explore soul work through the Māori drawing and learn body-mind self-care practices that enhance our connection with what has heart and meaning in our lives.

Learn how to use meditation, a breath practice, and a simple acupressure program, initially used at Ground Zero in New York City, after the events of 9/11. SEVA, in Sanskrit, means compassionate service. The SEVA acupressure program will be practiced seated, can be completed in 20 minutes, and used to reduce stress, promote relaxation, boost resilience, and enhance well-being.
NOTE: This two-hour program, presented periodically online, is also available for in-person groups of 6 or more participants in Monmouth or Ocean County locations.

This program will provide background on using acupressure for self-care based on ancient Chinese medicine principles and practices. Learn simple, quick acupressure points for: pain, headaches, nausea, sinus complaints, tension, anxiety, calming, insomnia, indigestion, and balancing emotions.
Practicing self-care can be a daily challenge. Learn how to meet the challenge and develop your self-care toolkit using five simple self-care practices: Awareness Journal, six-position breath practice, acupressure for deep relaxation, movement, and the Ten loves.

During this workshop participants will learn and practice simple Qigong for respiratory health. Qigong is a 5,000 year old Chinese traditional practice that uses meditation, breathing, movement, and massage to enhance respiratory health and physical well-being. Recent research has shown that practicing Qigong may enhance lung function and physical activity for individuals living with respiratory health issues, anxiety, and stress.
Come and share fun, playful moments as you learn and experience how to bring play and joy more actively into your life. You will explore the Ten Loves from The Heart of Healing: Discovering the Secrets of Self-Care, and leave feeling lighter, enlightened, and renewed through a Laughter Yoga session.
