Awakening to Our Heart's Guidance and Wisdom - September 2025
Regina Rosenthal | SEP 1, 2025

Someday, after mastering the winds, the waves, the tides, and gravity, we shall harness the energies of love, and then, for a second time in the history of the world, we will have discovered fire.
Teilhard de Chardin
We choose self-awareness, or “waking up,” throughout life as we experience and move through blessings and challenges. Many experiences provide lessons, through which we gain a deeper understanding and a stronger connection with our higher Self and the field of energy that surrounds and enfolds us. I call this connection, and the inner guidance and wisdom it provides, our internal GPS. I was reminded of this connection when I began studies with Dr. Aminah Raheem, the brilliant visionary and creator of Soul Lightening International, now Insight Acupressure. Her classes and her unique presence provided insights that changed the course of my life and soul journeys. It was a blessing and a privilege to be with her, and I can still hear her reminding me that “the longest journey I would take was from my head to my heart.”
In today’s world, due to conditioning and old beliefs that no longer serve us, we may overlook our heart’s wisdom, vital to life, healing, and inner peace. Oriental medicine refers to HeartMind as the integration of higher consciousness, intuition, and the feeling self or heart. We often become disconnected from our HeartMind as distractions, habits, anxiety, worry, and/or stress arise in everyday life, often leaving us feeling overwhelmed. In these moments, our feeling self seeks safety and relief relative to these overwhelming physical, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual challenges.
The body we live in is part of an interconnected and integrated “system,” through which body, mind, emotions, and soul interact and integrate life experiences. Our heart is command central. When we reconnect with our internal GPS, coming home to our heart’s guidance and wisdom through self-care practices (i.e., meditation, yoga, pranayama, acupressure, journaling), we renew and restore our life force energy, supporting balance, daily health, and well-being.
We can learn to move through challenging times with more ease and grace. We can learn to use messages that arise in our being as signals, raising our awareness and noticing what is asking to be seen, heard, and felt within our being. These inner messages provide support and guidance when life feels stressful and overwhelming. They may also remind us of simple times when we felt more relaxed and more balanced, such as watching a sunset, listening to music, being with a pet, sharing time with a friend. These messages from within often remind us of our need for rest to restore and renew our energy, to lighten our whole being and our journey.
Lessons learned on healing journeys are like talismans. They remind us of who we really are at our core, in our authentic selves. I look forward to sharing discoveries we make together, about what is at the heart of healing, through this website, private sessions, scheduled community and professional programs, online events, and free online monthly meditation and self-care sessions (currently being scheduled).
I hope you will join us by subscribing to my blog and upcoming newsletter, as we come together through love, Light, and heart centered moments.
Namaste….Regina
